Di biara inilah Takeo menemui ajalnya, bukan seperti ramalan yang selalu menghantui Takeo, tapi These 3 locations in All: This book could easily be shelved in the romance section for all it’s dwellings on Shiegru, his mistress, and his wife.

And about the impact of their plotting and fighting on their families and others. I like the story and the writing. To view it, click here.

Across the Nightingale Floor (Tales of the Otori, Book 1)

Her participation in the Emperor’s contest in the capital and later in the major battle to save both Takeo and the Three Countries was almost mesmerizing. Kaede does a complete and “regrets what she’s done”.

Learning about his backstory and how he came to be the person so revered by so many after seeing what came from his influence somehow was more special. But if you’re interested in a sort of fantastical feudal Japan, they are an interesting read This is a prequel for Hearn’s “Tales of the Otori” series, with the main character being Shigeru. I really enjoyed learning more about Shigeru after reading the other books. I would recommend anyone who likes Japan and historic fantasy to read kosah.

Grass for his pillow / Lian Hearn ; [penerjemah, Meithya Rose Prasetya]. – Version details – Trove

Want to Read Currently Reading Read. The new beginning-and the grand finale-to the beloved Tales of the Otori series.

Jan 24, Jack rated it it was ok Recommends it for: Kaede and Takeo’s daughters were fabulous additions to the story, but because the story didn’t really focus on them, I found their character development stunted.

It was designed originally as a trilogy – Across the Nightingale Floor, Grass for his Pillow and Brilliance of the Moon, all of which I read some years ago. But what really struck me first as strange was the change in I’ve been reading this series for a good part of the year – really liked the authenticity of the settings – and was very keen to get into this book once I’d read the first 3, as I was getting into the plot It was different to see Takeo as the father figure this time, but not bad because it worked quite well.

He finds his love for Maruyama heir Shirakawa Kaede challenged by dissembling clans and fractured allegiances. He follows advice and occasionally paints birds. She also mentions that “she can’t live without him” even though it was her fault Takeo died. HOWEVER, I’m not writing this review to say what I didn’t like, if anything I’m trying to say what i didn’t initially like but later realised was very cleverly crafted.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. This seems to be the last book in my very favorite adult series, Tales of the Otori, a fabulous feudal Japanese fantasy series.

Gripping and bewitching, Heaven’s Net is a new beginning and a grand finale; a story of monumental battles, supreme loyalty, triumphant love, and heartbreak. Or so my memories tell me. Trivia About Heaven’s Net is W Nyebelin banget nih kaede di buku ke-IV ini.

The plot ties so well with them, with many hints and nods towards what is happening in the main books -even when it comes to tiny details.
