She acted and communicated just like you would imagine any nine year old acting and reacting. Delinquent Daddy had my attention from the first page. Single working mother Ellie Trenton is completely bowled over to find her old college flame, whom she hasn’t seen in ten years, loitering on her front porch when she comes home from work one day.

Her biggest mistake might be the best thing ever to happen to him. The secondary characters are great as Boston has a large, close family. Why was it impossible for me to hate them? Ellie, being 19 at the time, came from an entirely different family background than Boston’s. She gave him his heart and virginity but he didn’t give her anything instead he treated linds like a dirty secret never telling his family about her because he was ashamed of her humble roots and never telling her that their relationship carried an expiry date when he left for law school.
Boston is NOT my kind of hero. Focuses more on entertainment value and emotional impact.
How come this man can be called a “Hero”? It was big leap of faith for me to even consider the possibility of a happy ending.
We appreciate your feedback. It was remarkable how much the characters changed in ten years. Cassie, the 9 year old daughter. I understood her reason for keeping the baby a secret, and I felt she was sufficiently remorseful when she realized the hurt and damage it caused for everyone involved. I could have handled a bit more of this to fully get more into the emotion, but it the author handled this reasonably well. It may even open the door to her happily ever after. He was also ashamed of his behaviour in the past and losing her had changed him and made him a better person.
Another book that brought tears to my eyes in a way no other book libda and I recommend it delinqueny the excellent writing and for the lovely, disasterous, and ultimately sweet story. He accepted the pregnancy eventually… By then it was too late.
Delinquenh swept up in an epic romance from the 1 New York Times bestselling author of The Notebook, a heartbreaking love story spanning decades and continents–from North Carolina to Zimbabwe. Knowing Boston was about to move away to attend Yale the next year, and realizing he was ashamed of her family status, or lack thereof; Ellie tells Boston she lost the baby and that it would best if they moved dellnquent without each other.
Delinquent Daddy by Linda Kage. The day that Monty got that letter it changed the life of his brother, Boston Kincaid. I t was a MUST for their past story to be told. Might reconsider changing ratings if I finish reading it in future and the characters redeems themselves. In that moment, if he’d repented, she would’ve forgiven anything.

All that was okay but the story seemed too long and sluggishly meandering towards the end and I felt it could have been tighter. Reading this book made me believe that people can change. I knew it from the beginning. Outlander Team Jamie Fraser.
